Sweet onion and Ham Quiche |

Bake deep dish pie crust until lt brown 9 - 11 min
In skillet, heat 1-2 tsp oil and add 1 chopped lg sweet onion, cook 4-6 min until soft and lt brown
Sprinkle onions, 1 c. diced ham, 1 c (4 oz) swiss cheese into prebaked crust.
Combine 1 c 1/2/ & 1/2, 3 eggs, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp pepper and wisk until blended.
Pour over ham, onion, cheese mix and bake 25 - 30 min (filling should still jiggle a bit in center when done). Let set 10 minutes.
Note: 1/2 & 1/2 makes a creamy quiche.
When using a 9 1/2 " pan I usually add 1 egg + 1/3 cup 1/2 & 1/2 to recipe to fill up the shell.
